Recreate your top rated image from your challenge entries.

Split challenge...choose one.
Advance editing vs basic editing.

If your top image is minimal/expert, recreate the top rated advance/basic image from your challenge entries.

I think we should recreate the lowest scoring shot. I'm pleased with my top scoring shots and don't see how I could really improve them. However I could rework some of my lower scoring shots :)

I've got 2 options:
- Buy a set of ND filters plus an airline ticket for a trip round the earth.
- Build own Spaceship capable of time-travel, fly to where the moon is now going through an eclipse.

I'm already starting on the second one, hope to have it ready before this comes to pass. :)

You could just hope the challenge comes at a time when there is a total lunar eclipse at your location. One other option is to move the moon or earth so that they cause the eclipse replay.
A lot of the top scoring shots are "one shot deals", like street portraits, events ect, and not studio setup shots that can be re-created. I
f the criteria was to just pick one from your challenge shots and improve on it, that would probably open up a can of worms about voters knowing who shot the photos in voting, since they would be very similar to previous entries.
The closest challenge to this that we have had was the challenge to choose someone else's challenge entry and try to improve on it.

I would love to try that, but unfortunately they tore down that barn the year after I took the shot. :O(

Yes but this is not to improve on the previous score or the image itself, it is merely to show off your skills, prove it was not just a fluke and see who comes of tops!

I thought this was a Tina Turner suggestion. ;D

Well, it IS true that I come of tops, both ma and pa were tops (very distant cousins though), but it has become our trademark to produce flukes, lotsa flukes.
