I rarely enter photo competitions elsewhere but this one caught my eye. It is a "mini-me" contest for Culvers (a burger franchise here in Ohio) and I submitted an old pic of Aidan and I as tooth fairies. I am not sure what the requirement is other than having a facebook account. But if you wouldn't mind hitting this link and giving the image a like I would appreciate it. Grand prize is a $250 gift certificate for Culvers (which Aimee would love for me not to win).

Here is the image I entered -

Rats, when I voted for your photo the app asked for permission to access all my friends, photos, profile info, and email. Sorry I don't give that sort of permission to Facebook apps.

Understandable. I wonder if you accept the app, vote and then delete the app does it block them from accessing info or does it keep the info in some sort of memory storage?

I rarely accept the permissions thing either, but when I do, I just delete the app right away. I think the vote still counts. Hopefully.

To delete the app:

Account - Privacy Settings, click "Edit your settings" under Apps & Websites at the bottom, click the "Edit Settings button next to "Apps you use" and click the X next to the mini photo contest app to remove it.

I actually went ahead and deleted the app myself. Curious to see what happens with my image.

We ate at a Culvers on our way through Wisconsin last week. I want one closer to me. It was yummy.

I reported your little vote buying scheme to Culvers. They gave me a $250 gift certificate. Cheers dude! :)

Bump for anyone willing to take on the app. You can vote once a day for the next two weeks. Burgers on me for anyone in Columbus if I win.

Voted! I often take part in competitions like this. My "Empty Room" picture is currently one of the finalists in //apps.facebook.com/photoxtreme/?ref=bookmarks competition. So good luck Tim.
