When you up load a image to the site the settings/camera information automatically is input...Nice! It was always a pain going back & getting that information, most of the time I didn't add it......Thanks!

It has been doing that for a while now, but only on portfolio additions. Challenge entries still need all the shooting info entered manually.

No kidding! That works! Except, it doesn't parse the lens information, or (presumably) which camera was used.

Thxs....I just assumed it did the camera/lens. The images I uploaded just happened to be the default Lens I used.....Still very Cool. So many times I look at a image and wonder what the settings were.

Just bear in mind this only works for a straight JPG: those who habitually "save for web" to nail the 300Kb number strip their images of EXIF. I'll try to get in the habit of doing my side challenge saves as straight JPG and keep this info embedded.

Actually I save for web using the optimise to file size but choose to keep the exif for non-challenge entries - you can keep all, none or then just copyright info. I like this for the non-challenge entries, but for challenge entries, I definitely strip the exif. I think this is a new option in CS5.

Yah, it's new in CS5 — I choose not to do it that way because the default is sticky to last-used and I just KNOW if I start clicking it for non-challenge then I'll forget to uncheck it and my challenge entry EXIF will be attached, which I do not want. It's easy enough to do a straight JPG save for routine work now that I know this feature is enabled.

You-da-Bear....This was the first time I uploaded images here that were not saved for web. They are full high resolution jpg images for printing... :-)
