I'm trying to use my sigma 105mm lens with my Nikon D90 and I keep getting the error message FEE. I looked it up and it says I must lock my lens so it is set to its minimum aperture. I have done this, but still keep getting the error message. I have used this lens with this camera many times with no problems, so I'm really confused. Any ideas? I'm sure it's something small, just annoying because I want to go shoot!

How are you locking the lens?

Option 1) With another lens, set the camera to the minimum aperture of this lens then change lenses.
Option 2) If the lens has an aperture ring, set it to wide open (smallest aperture number)

You may have to do option 1 along with 2 to get it to work.
