Please, sign the petition today and help stop the TSA’s and DHS’s unconstitutional actions against our privacy and right to refuse unwarranted search. Enough is enough!

Most people prefer to fly safe, (look at the polls).

What are you folks trying to hide anyway?

Every animal has genital organs, no one cares about yours, get over it.

I have has some really pretty tougher pat/touch downs. I have not had an indecent one, i.e actually grabbing my boobs or crotch.

But to be honest, I think I would rather go through that and other people go through that than die in a fiery explosion.

Scarbird would be a good one to ask he is always flying everywhere all over America and the world

Is there an option... can you ask for one, Eh?

LOL, I always beep and get pat downs , it is the underwire of my bra that does it.

Funnily enough, LAX is the worst for screening, I never beep

Good old America where everything is a Right and not a privilege.....Don't like the safety measures....you have the Right not to fly.

I think they should offer you prints of your full body scan like when you ride a roller coaster at the amusement park.

Oh, and I agree. It's a privilege not a right. If you don't like it find another way to travel. Oh, oh, and I do think it's sad that we have become such a scared nation that we don't trust anyone. In summary, I don't think we should have gotten to this point, but apparently the airlines have. It's their right to say they don't trust any of us, but it is indeed very sad.

this is the point i keep trying to make. Nobody is making anybody fly. You can take a train or car or boat.

on a side note, the airlines are allowed to hire their own private security firm as long as they follow the guideline set forth by the TSA. Im pretty sure San Fran employs their own security firm, and i bet you will see others do so as well.

actually my take is, we should allow everyone to carry guns and knives on the planes. Would you hijack a plane knowing that half the plane may be armed?

I'm pretty sure that the authors of the Constitution failed to foresee bombs on planes. Now that they are a reality the risk has to be dealt with. If you find these measures offensive and invasive, don't fly. I see from your profile you give your location as "Right behind you..Boo." I think you really need to be patted down.

Not a chance I would even consider flying on such a plane. I can see it now, someone sees someone else with a gun, pulls their own out and is shot by someone else. In the ensuing firefight, the fusilage is filled with holes, a bevy of people are filled with holes, the cockpit is filled with holes...

Naw...not for me.

Yep, anyone that owns a gun or carries a gun immediately starts shooting just for the sake of shooting. We should ban all guns and frisk those that even ask to buy one.

This is not necessarily true. I have to travel for work and "They" make me fly. I guess I have a choice whether to pay my mortgage and put food on the table vs. flying. Last time I checked, the train doesn't go to Europe or China :(

You feel fine with that...go ahead fly. Most people I know panic right quick and I most certainly would not trust them with a gun when confronted with situations of this type.

Sure. If I were asked, "Would you rather fly safely or die in a horrible crash?" Nine times out of ten I would opt to fly safely.

On the other hand, if I were asked, "Would you be willing to give up your fourth amendment rights and let a bunch of untrained goons manhandle and grope you and your loved ones or expose them to harmful radiation in return for a thin illusion of safety?" The answer to that would be what Demi Moore said in G.I. Jane, "Suck my dick!"

You are missing the point entirely. It's not about trying to hide anything, it's about preserving our constitutional rights. Simply put, what the TSA and DHS are doing is illegal in this country. I don't know what country you live in, but citizens of the USA have rights.

Au contrair, mon ami, some people do care a great deal about my genitals. We also care about the safety and well-being of our children and do not care to have them felt up by ignorant neanderthals. Perhaps you enjoy being groped by big strong men, or maybe you enjoy watching your children being treated that way, but that's your own business and doesn't mean that I have to put up with it.

My only question is how many terrorists etc have been found and or stopped via the pat down?
Can't remember reading about a plot stopped by the crotch of the pants. Any links?

I haven't heard of one either, but we let someone buy a 1-way ticket, with cash, and no luggage on a plane without asking a question. I'm all for profiling as long as the profiling includes all information available, not just the way someone dresses or their appearance.
