This is another website thread, but you get to see my lovely pictures.
My internet has been dodgy recently so I cant really judge load times etc.
Could you have a look at my new site and let me know what you think?
Thanks in advance.

I like its simplicity.
I like that you have a very wide page to scroll across to view your images - different to some sort of fancy gallery...
Oddly, using Opera, when the pages are scrolled all the way to the right, the menu doesn't work unless I scroll it all of the way back to the left, but only on some of the pages? |

After a 1 second freeze it loaded very quickly. I like it and want one. Did you do this yourself? A host? My SmugMug site lost its uniqueness a long time ago.
Very nicely done. |

Thanks, yeah I wanted to keep it simple and all about the pictures which I wanted bigger than you sometimes see on the web.

Thank you. Im glad to hear it loaded quick for you, i designed it but got someone else to do the coding. Ino what you mean, I've had quite a few different sites over the years from a a very flash flash site with fancy gallerys to what I have now where there is hardly any website at all, In my opinion it should be the pictures on show not the site. |

That works very well. I like it. The only quibble I might have with it, functionally, is that the way you've designed it severely limits the dimensions of vertical images, so horizontal images get way more eye-time than verticals... But it's different, it's functional and aesthetic and utterly non-intrusive. My logitech nano mouse has a tilting wheel that allows me to scroll left or right by pushing it, so it's just keen-o, nino :-)

I really like it - simplicity. I agree that it should be about the images not the techno stuff. The tabs (I think that is what they are) are a little hard to read on some of the pages. Nothing bothersome, just an observation. Nice job.

Thanks everyone, glad you all like it as much as I do.
If anyone would like the email of the guy who created it for me send me a pm and I'll pass on his details. (he's supricingly cheap and it only takes a couple of days)
Thanks again |

The scrolling system is great and no problem with loading times. Some of your pictures are amazing, I love some of them in the 'Other' section as well :-) |
