DPC's challenges are all single photo challenges so far. Triptych challenge is a little different, but it is still a single photo challenge. How about having "series" challenges?

A series consists of at least two and no more than five photos, sharing a common theme or concept and a single title. Photographers should ensure that these images work together as a whole, as they will not be judged individually when entered as a series.

It needs more time to creat a series, so maybe we can have a series challenge a month, like Free Study, but with specific subjects.

Any thoughts?

There are some "series" samples in //www.photoawards.com/en/Pages/Gallery/winner.php

I think it would be cool! I would see 3-5 pictures, one beside the other (not on 3 different pages), so the limit of 800px on each side should be raised.

I think that'd be the best way to do it alright. The limit would need to be substantially increased though. The stacking of the shots might be something else that might add to the series.
Good idea, Deen!

I am curious what Langdon and Site Council think. Do SC think this idea practicable?

Deen, you come up with some of the most fascinating websites!
And yes, it would be a challenging study to do.

I'd love a challenge like this. It's an important aspect of photography that is not covered by the site.

I like this idea, but feel constrained by a maximum of five.
