So as promised here is the re do of light's ebb and my outtakes for the motion challenge.

The other thing I learned in this picture is the importance of scale. I was standing on the Kaytey Tail which is cut into the river bluff of the Missouri River. What's pictured is a back wash of the river bank and a very large uprooted tree. not a brance in a pond. lol

I brighted and croped as most people recommended but to be honest I think I lost some of the mood. I guess a lot depends on your monitor settings.

Thank you all for your excellent comments, it was the best lot I've ever gotten.

Oh, and Ripples is from a seperate shot just same time same place.

BTW I'd like comments on whether the boy on byke should have been cropped. Wish I had entered one of them now. :P

Well, I didn't say it was too dark (my gamma is set around 2.0), but I did suggest a crop. I think this version is much stronger. I would have given it 10! (Along with the 11 other photos I gave 10s to... The quality in the members challenges is very high, and I'm such a softie :P).
