Bear_Music has offered his opinion, but it varies from the pattern of DPL1.

Wouldn't the first DPL2 challenge be the member challenge announced at midnight EDT April 12, 2010? And, the Open challenges announced at midnight EDT April 14, 2010 would comprise the balance of the challenges for DPL2 Round 1?

I mean it doesn't matter to me which way it is scheduled, but my team of 10 happy campers wants to be ready. It makes a difference on calendar scheduling.

Please advise!

You are right, my apologies. Almost certainly they plan to start the DPL with the challenge that starts at midnight on the 12th. I always think of those as "the Sunday Challenge" so when Is aw that the "date" was a Monday, I didn't think of that aspect.

There's something screwy with the invites. I have two outstanding. I haven't responded to either but neither shows on the join a team page.

Unless of course they've been revoked. :(

My email said I had two invites. But when I got here only one showed up.

Evidently the other team sobered up before I got online.

While I didn't have the honor of asking you to join my team, I understand what is happening. When a team is down to their last few slots, it becomes chaotic. There are members seeking a desired team and there are teams seeking a crucial member. I had to withdraw (with regret) a few previously extended invitations myself, in order to finalize my team and then again to finalize the tenth member. I sent messages of apology to those whose invitations I withdrew. Still, it hurt to offend. I expect it's just part of the process...

Haven't been a team captain so I'm not sure but I think that's done by SC. And I think it is done once the next multiple of 24 is reached, then those teams are finalized. Looks like a couple of declines so we need two more invites sent.
