I hereby ban any talk about the Final season of Lost until we get to see the episodes about 5 days after the US.

You may say, "just dont read the thread"...

It`s Lost... that just isnt possible.

no worries from my side, have no interest in watching it. I tried watching it for few minutes, and felt it was all rubbish and waste of time.

Pointless Lost reply #2 --

You mean that show is actually still on the air? Geeze, why?

ETA -- ;)

[SC == Smiley Captioned, for the humorless or hard-of-judging-sarcasm]

Ohh, and bonus points to me for the television-caption reference.

well done you too, i also thought that was most pointless thread someone started.

Thousand people watch thousand programs if everyone started a thread on each one ....

Most pointless reply #whatever -

Get over yourself. If you can't have any self-control, don't expect others to have it for you.

Also, stop watching stupid television shows.

Also, your fly is down.

I LOVE Lost, and it will take everything in my power to not talk about it as soon as I see it, but I will do my best to respect everyones wishes

I like you more and more each post you make.
Ever find it ironic that people tend to be living vicariously through something that doesn't even exist? Imaginary vicarious-ness. WTF
Has reality gotten so bad we can't face it?
PS- I don't watch any television shows regularly. TV=filler. If your life is empty, evaluate it.

FFS guys, I watch literally 2 hours of TV a week, shortly to be bumped by another hour.. My life isnt empty in the slightest - its just something I actually enjoy.

Jeez, I look at how many threads some of you people post on here and think to myself how empty your lives must be..

DPChallenge = Filler
Photography = Filler (unless like me you make a living out of it)
Internet = Filler (90% of the time)
Reading Fiction = Filler

We all need to fill our lives with something - its just some of you like to feel their way is more superior than others.

I know it's probably going to make you really mad, but here are those spoilers you were so worried about. MUAHAHAH!!!

Spoilers:
The professor finally gets to make out with Gilligan AND MaryAnn at the SAME TIME!

Nah, Simms, if you only watch that much television you're golden. I'm not saying all filler is bad, and I'm not proclaiming one as better than the other. Everybody needs SOME filler. But when that filler becomes the starting point for relating to other people, it's kinda disgusting to me. I'm referring more to the average American I guess, who statistically watches 4 hours per day and lives through television by then going and talking about that at work with their coworkers and with their friends when they visit.
Are all US shows like that in the UK- airing slightly later?

it used to be months later, but (i guess) the internet has forced the networks to close the gap, with TV and cinema releases.
last year we had '24' (ironically) only 24 hours after US the airing.

I love that you can dish it out, but when someone else gives you a hard time and fucks around with you, you foam at the mouth. hehehehe.

I gotta disagree with you on #1 and #2. They're things I enjoy and I learn a lot from. Definitely not "fillers." #3 stopped being a filler for me a long time ago, and I stopped doing #4 as soon as it became a filler. Also, I don't watch TV. Except for History channel when something useful/informative is on, and useful/informative =/= filler. I know you weren't referring to me specifically at the beginning of your post, but calling all those "fillers" is very, very hypocritical... I mean, you're talking about us filling our "empty" lives with useless crap...

you're calling "reading fiction" a filler, yet you're watching fiction on TV
you're calling DPChallenge a filler, yet you're on here quite a bit (13,000+ votes, 68 challenges entered, a huge portfolio, 4,200+ forum posts, 263 threads, etc)
you're calling the Internet a filler, yet you're using DPC as "just another site" by starting a Lost thread on it
you're calling photography a filler, which says a lot about why you're here

Nicely paraphrased.

I am not knocking these activities for being fillers - as I said, we all need something to fill our lives one way or the other - and I stand by what I said..

I watch TV as it fills in a couple of hours on a Sunday evening when I am doing my ironing.

I read fiction whilst taking a s**t - I like the solitude - although I could do without the smell.

I view DPchallenge when I have lightroom open or working on wedding albums.

I take photos as it pays my mortgage. But I also enjoy it, its fills me life..

Other things that fill my life are kids, wife, friends, RC Helicopter flying (badly) etc.

Everything is a filler, just because we don`t learn from it doesn`t make it a waste of time.

I originally thought LOST didn't look like it was worth watching, then a couple of months ago I accidently saw the Pilot episode. So...I was hooked and I watched ALL of the previous seasons of LOST in just 2 weeks. Can't wait for the new/last season to start - sure hope it's worth it.
