Hi Dan - when you hit the REPLY button, you'll see at the top of the box there are 8 buttons. If you are a member, you'd hit the "thumbnail" box, and insert the photo ID number of a pic from your portfolio. Since you are not a member, you will hit the "insert image" box and you will be prompted for the web link of your photo. So this means you'll need to have the photos at another hosting site like flickr or smugmug.

By web link, I asume you mean its URL. When I try this, I get a message saying that new members cannot use URLs.

I tried once and could not get it to work. The second time I tried it, you see the results below :)

Next time, if it doesn't work, try using the [img] [/img] tags and see what happens. Cute photo! Can you link to one that would allow us to go to the flickr page and leave comments?

Dan.. you have to upload the image into your portfolio first.. you don't have a portfolio of images yet. Once you do that, then you can copy the image number and post the thumbnail in here. I hope that helps!

Here's the photo from week one!

Also, I love the idea people are blogging about their photos! I'm not going to do it for the weekly challenge here, but I've been doing a photo a day project on my blog. It's really quite a task!

As always, critique is always welcome.

Drat! I forgot that I had to do this!

Here's one for the first week!

Still thinking. My theme might be analog or maybe experimental (this is both). I'll throw in the occasional digression, of course...

Dear All,

I am happy to join this group. The comments are making it more lively place to be.

I have one suggestion:

I would be nice if people include the Name of their THEME along with the thumbnail picture when they submit an entry.
It would make it easier and useful for others to relate to their intentions. Otherwise it would appear as a free-study.

Thank you. Good Day!

-Vikram
