This farmhouse is one that's been a victim subject of mine for the last three and a half years.

This cat was *REALLY* pissed off at me for invading her territory. I figure she had babies in the house as much growling & carrying on as she was doing.

Anywho.....the tones & textures of this place as it deteriorates are just sublime....

ETA: I have PERMISSION to shoot the house any time I like....(With a camera....)

I was walking around while my studs were being put on my truck and came across this tub sunken into the ground, they prob. use as a flower bed in the spring.

That would also make a good "worm farm" (for fishing bait). Usually you build a wood frame and bury it to the edge, but an old bathtub would be nearly perfect (may hold too much water).

It's the strange things that kind of intrigue me. I found this huge old beautiful house that is completely destroyed inside....

The part that intrigued me the most?

This cast iron radiator. That thing's HEAVY!!! It's gotta go no less than a couple hundred pounds........WHY is it still there?????

ETA: The radiator is in the top right center of the first image....

One from a day of shooting for Urban.....

I had to work on this fairly hard 'cause it was handheld @ 800ISO, and a R E A L L Y long shutter....

Topaz & Noise Ninja, worked the temp as much as I could to bring up some more light in the RAW converter.....

It's weird.....this house looks like it was a derelict house that was being restored, then the restoration project failed.....

This is the same house....

I have a bunch of "decay" type shots.
This one didn't have much editing.
It was a simple split to RGB and a merge of RG.

Hope no one minds me jumping in here, I'm doing a mega-edit session at the moment (I've got a bit of a backlog). I'll try and throw a few more in if I have time this month!
