Welcome everyone! Post what you got, and feel free to have discussion here too. Questions are bound to come up related to different cameras/film, how or where to develop film, scanning, etc.

Mid-month joinee's and one-time posts are welcome.

As you post images, please share in the description what kind of camera/film you used, and anything else that might be interesting or helpful.

The Rules/Suggested Guidelines:
1. Film
2. Corrective post-processing only (e.g. correct color balance, clone out dust/scratches, etc.)
3. Use a Holga or some other cheap/toy/lomo film camera: Diana, LC-A, Smena, Lubitel, Horizon or anything that looks and performs like garbage. Instant cameras are also okay, but no SLR's or rangefinders, please.

The Participants:
bvy - Bell & Howell Focus Free 28mm, Photoflex MX-35, Smena 8m
Yo_Spiff - Steve will surprise us.
Melethia - Minaki 35mm (essentially the same camera as the MX-35)
tph1 - Just about anything
RKT - Holga
krnodil - Holga, other medium format cameras
Iraklis - Holga
halopes - Holga, Black Slim Devil
datcat - Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim

I'd just like to say I have precisely 16 Time Zero films to use up, and every time I press the shutter button I feel like I just killed a Bald Eagle. It's darn nerve-wracking, working with obsolete film...

Hahaha...your comment made me laugh out loud.... I know the feeling...damn 120mm film costs me around 11 US dollars and only has 12 shots in it...

Ok, a bit repetitive...but like I said only four came out...

If you go slowly enough, there might be some new film ready for you next year: //www.the-impossible-project.com/

Oh yeah, I know, I've been keeping an eye on them. Hopefully 1) they will make in particular manipulable Time Zero-like film that will fit in my sx-70 and 2) they won't charge extortionist prices for it.

My wife turned 50 this weekend and it seemed like the celebration lasted for weeks. It's over now. Finally.

Polaroid Land Camera 340. Not sure if it fits in the SC, but I think someone said "any cheap film camera will do". This one was $10.00.
Didn't stretch too hard for this shot, but I always liked the subdued lighting in this room, and I wanted to see how this camera would work under these conditions. Just cleaned up some spots in pse.

From what I heard, that is the type of film they are hoping to bring out. No peel-apart film, they are leaving that to Fuji, I think. Maybe there is an SX-70 in my future yet??

I just received my very first Holga in the mail today! I am going to have fun! Hopefully I will scan some photos in after about a week or so.

Good for you! Get started right away; our little side challenge seems to have stalled.

Actually managed to take some photos yesterday. I'll be interested to see how they turn out. Nothing is immediate with this, it's kind of fun. Maybe this is a side challenge that needs to spread over 2 months :)

I have shot the full roll (I think) of film in the nice little cheap camera that Brian sent me. I shall dutifully find a processor on Monday, I hope! There are camera stores here that sell film - one would hope they also process it!

By the way, when Brian sent me my camera, he wrote "cheap plastic camera" on the customs form. The guys in our mail room got a kick out of that, because they've also seen all my boxes from B&H... figured I'd downsized/downgraded since retiring. :-)
