A few of you have probably seen this, but I just though I must share it. This guy makes timelapse videos, where each and every frame is a shot that could probably get a ribbon here :) Enjoy //www.vimeo.com/6686768

For some reason it won't show me the actual videos, just a blank white space.

Anyway, beautiful photography. The combination of time lapse and moving camera is really spectacular. |

it did the same for me, but when I clicked on one of the thumbs on the right panel, it started showing

| Mesmerizing! He has a dolly setup that is computer driven and very finely tuned to move between exposures. Amazing work! |

| Very cool! It is amazing how bright the moonlight is at elevation. There is nowhere I'd rather be than under the stars in the Sierra's. Unbelievable. |

OK, there we go! Oddly enough, I clicked on an ad to see the new Porsche Panamera, and it prompted me to install V10 of flash player, and that's what was needed here, so that's taken care of :-)
Killer good time-lapse, awesome!

The stars are so clear, every time I try stars they streak a little, do you think he uses the dolly to track the stars during exposure or just a fast lens?? |

Dolly, some sort of revolving head, and a computer, it looks like. There are a couple of YouTube videos showing how it is done(I only watched one) on the page with his latest video. |

| I don't think the stars were being tracked as you can see them move. If you have a wide angle lens (which most appear to be) which is fast (f/2.8 or better) you can avoid star trails. Especially with a 5D2 which can handle high ISO pretty well. |
