This one deserves another look. I don't think I totally understand his description, but it looks like he put some creative work into this one:

Thank you so much - I really appreciate it. And although I was asking for it (so absolutely no hard feelings towards the DPC crowd), I was very surprised that this many voters spent more time writing about the DNMC than glancing at the entire image.

For my money this is an outstanding shot and one I would have on my wall without any hesitation.

THanks! …
I wonder if I should have used one of my dozens of iphone shots. I chickened out.

This was just fun to look at

Thanks ColorCarnival, I think I got a little to creative for my own good. Maybe if I would have left the portrait out from the end of the capture. Regardless, it was fun making it.

Words are inadequate to express my delight at seeing these in the Camera Movement challenge. I wanted to enter one of my own, but had gotten used to these being rejected, misunderstood, underappreciated, etc. Hooray! I have a little hope that we will be seeing more of these in future. I've not yet done one of these at 30 seconds...that is a very dark night indeed. Some of mine are in my Abstract Light gallery here.

No problem, it was a great shot. Thought mine would have done better than it did.

Umm, I suppose since I am still in the land of the really good chocolate... :-) We'll see.

And thanks!
