Many people do individual projects, as this is a learning site first and fore most, and it is generally accepted and recommended that personal projects are a great way of boosting personal photography, it would be amazing if this was integrated into dpc in a way similar to the challenges somehow. Much like the side challenges but more integrated with maybe a sort of light box to show an individuals images so far??

I think it would be a great addition for members.

One might say that you can already do this with your portfolio and folders, but somehow it's just not the same. I hesitate to put my experiments/projects into my portfolio, because by definition it's a "representative of a person's work". I can see myself looking at someone's project more than their portfolio. I like to see the process of their learning, not just the final portfolio. I always like to go back to page 1 of side challenges and watch how much some people improve. You really do learn a lot from projects/side challenges.

I would like that. I would like to see it on my profile page, something along the lines of "latest images uploaded" only it would be "latest images added to project" & it could be an option for the member's profile page.

In fact, there is a "Selected Images from Portfolio" section & it is possible to pick those images from those uploaded to your portfolio. You can change how many images display in that section. I can try that. I can title the images "Project: Motion Blur, Image #1" or something.

You can put it in the "Biography" section of your profile where it will be near the top of your profile for everyone to see -- there does not seem to be a limit as to how much you can put in that section. Lots of people use this secton for displaying their Posthumous and other miscellaneous awards and/or for listing their goals and/or for writing something about themselves and/or for listing other DPCers they have met -- but there is no reason a project can't be put in there.
