OK I'm back to shooting, after a hectic weekend of MDA Telethon I get a day off tomorrow. I've been commenting some to try and stay involved. Thanks everyone for your continued participation. The images are awesome.

Day 8.

Several people mentioned curiosity about the magnification and capabilities of the Canon MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x Macro MF.

I took these shots to give you an idea of its capabilities.

I do recommend that you have a good source of light if you use this lens. When you get into the high magnifications sunny days become pitch black.

Sorry the 3x is a little out of focus.

Not my best stuff, but my son wanted to show it to me when I got home from work, pitch black and had to use a flashlight to see it, and also to focus, put a sheet of poster board behind it so I had some background other then pitch black.
