Smells more like jealous boyfriend to me. I guess time will tell but usually in a murder suicide they release speculation to the such pretty quickly. Either way it's a shame. |

After reading the article on MSN today  Firebird's scenario is probably more likely. Nashville police stated that they are not actively seeking a suspect. |

Sounds like a case where he was banging the waitress and probably wanted to end the relationship, The Waitress takes the 'if I can't have him, then nobody will' stance and shoots him, panics and commits suicide.

that's it????? wow.. I wonder how many people are born everyday... back on subject though... How horrible for his children.. Regardless of who did it.. Their dad was caught with a 20 yr old in a condo he was renting on the side with his buddie and was shot multiple times..
Gov. Sanford must be thinking he's lucky he only got caught and was humiliated... Ya just never know.. Things could always be worse !!! |

I listened to the news and they reported he had two shots to the chest and two to the head whereas she had only one gunshot wound.... could very well be a murder suicide... time will tell

His death has been ruled a homocide, but they haven't yet determined if her death was homocide or suicide, or whether it was McNair's gun (he had a permit) or someone else's.
