I finally decided to purchase the Adobe Production Premium CS4 Suite at Adobe.com.
I was completely surprised to see there is no Adobe discount offered at NAPP!!
Does anyone know of an Adobe discount code?

Thanks,
JD

I see a $100 savings if you upgrade from an earlier version, but I don't see anything if you're buying new.

I found something in the NAPP Customer Service Forum indicating that the discount expired May 31, 2009 and that NAPP was fairly certain it would not be extended. Bothersome. Adobe is still listed as a partner on the NAPP site and their products are still shown in the discount overview image.

Do you know any students (grades 10-12 or college/grad)? if so, check out Academic Discount Software - $298

Or teachers/staff - I think they qualify for the same discount, although they'd have to have documentation to prove they're associated with a school (so would the student, in the form of at least an ID card).

Thanks for everyone's input...
The software I really needed were Photoshop CS4 Extended, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. I also wanted Premiere Pro, although not a necessity.

3 of the 4 are included in the Production Premium CS4 suite, and the cost with an upgrade from a single product (Photoshop CS3) was $1099 (at the Adobe site). That is steep, but not nearly as costly as buying individual programs. I went ahead and did it, but I was missing Dreamweaver. I found the CS3 version on Ebay for $129, so I picked that up as well.

I do video projects on the side for my company, and I earn about $1500 a pop every couple of months. With that considered, this will eventually be 'free' with the exception of a few late nights with little sleep! (I have three kids, so I do my editing/post production after they go to bed.).

This should hold me over for a little while, at least until CS5 comes out!! LOL

The main shocker in all of this was the lack of a discount package for NAPP members. How is that even possible????? I wonder if there was a falling out between NAPP and Adobe??? Unbelievable...

Also, if you participated in a photowalk on July 18 you can get a 15% discount.
