Just gota give a little more praise for these guys. Over a year ago I had ordered this Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_636081.jpg 16"x20" print when they were handing out the coupons to get something like $80 off your order and was impressed with the colour and quality of the print.

Forward to now, I recently had a friend/client ask for a print from a shoot I did for her as COD had a free shipping sale going on and ordered her an 11"x14" print for her of a group shot I did last year and for giggles but more likely had to do with beer influence at the time I also ordered a 20"x30" of this 794177.jpg for myself, needless to say they both look OMG awesome and was seriously impressed with their service once again and even the way they packaged the prints was impressive. Anyway ordering out of the US to Canada is a little more but the service and quality make up for it...

You can prob point them to your DPC profile. I think a fair amount of people did just that...

If you have prints for sale at DPC Prints, I think it would make sense to use that rather than your regular Portfolio, which contains all kinds of entries and stuff. The format for that link is

I have also used canvas on demand, and asked for a custom size of 12"x60". At first, I doubted it could be done, but they did an incredible job on it, and the delivery was quick. I wouldnt call it low cost, but it was definitely reasonable.

Wow!! thanks again...I just got my account approved...I used my profile page as I don't have any prints for sale...yet...I still have a long ways to go on here before I can try to sell anything on here....

I am working on this for a friend...Link so that is what I'm up to....

Simply Canvas is a bit more money but the end result is more impressive. I have gallery wraps from both and two other companies and Simply Canvas is the best of all of them, but you a pay a bit more unless you have coupons, CanvasCash, etc.

I've used COD a number of times, and I'll admit that they've always come through with excellent product and great customer service...

However, I also found a local sign company that can do gallery wraps. Same materials, probably the same printer and inks. They can print and mount on just about any material. Their prices are a bit lower when I'm printing one or two canvases; their prices are incredibly discounted when I'm printing a lot at once. The quality is outstanding, as is their customer service. Their turnaround is fairly quick, usually a day or so. The main thing for me, though, is that they are local. Not only am I able to keep my money in my local economy, I have a working relationship with people I can have a cup of coffee with (and I don't pay for shipping). And, through them, I'm finding a lot of really cool and diverse ways to present and use my imagery (banners, large signs, etc.). I think I would probably be doing business with them, even if they wound up costing me a little more, just because they are local.

Now, if I lived in a place where Internet-based services like COD were my only option, then that would be that. On the other hand, it might be worth it for you to look around where you live to see who might have the equipment and skills necessary to handle your gallery wraps. There might be solution for you in your own back yard.

There's a guy at my camera club that does his own and actually has done a few for other members. I think its really cool but some shots just don't look quite right on canvas.

I ordered a Canvas from COD of my recent freestudy Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_792852.jpg there turn around time was great and the finished product was great as well. I have had a couple of small issues with them in the past. My second order took quite a bit of time as they were slammed and almost missed delivery deadline for a client. This time they made a fantastic turn around time, however it was delivered while I was away on assignment and my family was with me so no one was home. Fedex left it laying on my front porch, wrapped in a bag and it had rained and then been very hot and the bag was sweating. I was worried it was going to be ruined. But fortunately only the box it was in was damp and it never made it to the canvas. Something as valuable as a canvas should need to be signed for.

more reasons to look for local options ;-) no one's perfect, but i've always believed in the strength of face-to-face relationships, especially when it comes to resolving issues.

I ordered from them when they ran that great special a year ago. Awesome quality, awesome service, and very fast turn around (which is surprising, because Im sure they were bombarded with orders given the special they were running)

I am going to be ordering from them soon as well.

I also used the $80 coupon for a 16by20 of our dog --Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_763118.jpg

For only about $14 for the shipping and handling, it was an amazing deal! The quality is stunning!

Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_777549.jpg

this is the picture that I ordered...when I put it into the free study it didn't do to well...but later I realized that no one could tell from the size of the thumbnail that I had made it to look like a painting by doing the artistic brushes...when it is full size it is quite stunning (IMO of course) so I thought that with the paint brushes and add canvas to that it would work quite well...so we will see

I have to agree Skip, however Canvas suppliers in my area are limited, and those that are here make it nearly impossible to make a profit without putting yourself out of reach of your clients.

CoD is local for me -- sortof. I can order from them and have it in a day or two because they are only a few hours away. I've not found anyone competitive locally.

Of course, keep in mind that to get high quality prints I have to drive almost an hour. . . .

Well, I am impressed already and I still haven't gotten the end product in my hand...CoD called me today to confirm some of my questions/concerns, very polite and helpful...and they thought that the picture that I sent them would look really good BUT that it needed to go up in size...of course I am hesitating, as I don't really want to spend any more $$ then he comes back with...at no charge to upsize!!! ok, I'm sold, can hardly wait to get the picture...they are taking it from 20X24 to 24x30 (I think)
