Is there anyone that still meets up for photography outings in the Los Angeles area? Like maybe walking around downtown LA or maybe the coastal areas?

Yes, there are a few from DPC that get together occasionally. You can keep an eye out for the L.A. Area DPC thread (although it has been fairly inactive of late). If you want to schedule an outing, feel free to post to that thread.
