So we don't lose what's already been posted, why not ask the SC to rename this thread?

I finally got another couple of rolls processed, and here's my first offering.

I haven't been too crazy about the way my negatives come back from the lab -- some pretty nasty scratches and a lot of dust. Does anyone know anything about developing color print film at home?

I may go back to bulk loading b&w.

Am I too late??! I finally got it all worked out. I'm unhappy with the scans (they're from an old office HP), but it's the best I could do for now.

Pedestrian subject matter, but what's most exciting here is that I made the camera, took the image, and developed the prints in my own makeshift darkroom. Pretty exciting! (For me anyway.) More to come...

Unlike black and white film, color film has to be processed in complete darkness.

I have half a roll shot. Stay tuned, maybe next week I will be getting it developed.

Looking forward to it.

I dropped off a roll of Agfa RSX 100 for cross processing at the lab yesterday. Hopefully have some funky colors to share next week.

i bought myself a 'Hasselblad C' with an 80mm f2.8 lens today, and i have just shot my first roll of film... ever!
(Ilford Pan F 50)

i will be doing the developing myself, in a dark room i can rent by the hour!

if anyone is willing to answer any of the 1000 questions i am bound to have, it would be appreciated greatly!

I am sure that some of us will be able to help with any of the questions. If you can find an old roll of film to practice the art of putting it on the developing spool in the dark, it would be a useful thing to be comfortable with. That's about the only difficult thing about developing film, and it only takes a few tries to learn well enough to be comfortable about it. The place with the darkroom should have someone around who would be happy to help you through your first roll and developing/enlarging. It's a big thrill to see the negs projected on the printing paper, then to see the image come up in the developer tray.

i inadvertantly have a test roll.
i shot my first roll to get to grips with the camara and as i was unloading it, it uncoiled and sprung like an attacking cobra!
luckily i was just shooting familar spots i have shot loads already, not a wedding or anything!!

Thought I'd jump in here. Unfortunately, I don't have a great way to scan negatives.
