| First was a 4, followed by three 6's and a 5. It's a very simple shot with simple editing so I expect it to be hammered. |

People better not be voting down Grey shot in color.
It's a challenge about the COLOR GREY. It's not Black & White XVIII. It's not Shades of Grey. It's GREY.

Maybe the worst scoring Grey In Color entry should get a "Gandalf the Grey" award instead of a brown ribbon, eh.

Well, mine is all grey, but no black and white conversions either (in camera or without). Just came out that way.

I'm not voting in this challenge but my first pass through surprised me. I guess I read the description wrong as I thought it meant not to use b/w and by refernece even grayscale. I had a shot that was in color but very gray because of the light and weather but I removed it before the challenge started. It would have been much better as a true grayscale but I thought I would get beat up with DNMC. Who would have guessed the opposite may be true. |
