Happy Holidays!

I have a gift card I need to use before the end of the year at Dell.com and was hoping to buy a really good point and shoot. The card is $200 and so I'll probably have a price range up to $350. $400 is pushing but can be convinced if it's REALLY good.

Would like to have the following (most important feature listed first):
1. Good quality pics
2. Pocket size to carry around on a (near-)daily basis
3. Control (e.g., manual, ap prioriity, etc.)

Thanks everyone and hope the holidays and new year bring you health, wealth, and joy!

The powershot A2000 looks pretty good.

I was looking for the A720, but did not see it. It may not be a current model any longer.
The SD series are a little smaller and I know many people here have them

The Canon SD880 IS got good reviews as well.

Here's a recent NY Times article rating new cameras under $300
