Tableau vivant (plural: tableaux vivants) is French for "living picture." The term describes a striking group of suitably costumed actors or artist's models, carefully posed and often theatrically lit. Throughout the duration of the display, the people shown do not speak or move. The approach thus marries the art forms of the stage with those of painting/photography, and as such it has been of interest to modern photographers. The most recent hey-day of the tableau vivant was the 19th century with virtually nude tableau vivants or "poses plastiques" providing a form of erotic entertainment.

From the description/definition you post, it sounds beyond the reach of the majority of potential participants of any group here.

I was thinking psuedo tableau vivant or accidental tableau vivant would also qualify. The definition was directly from (and should have been attributed to) Wikipedia.

There are many examples of photography, I've seen on this site and elsewhere, that appear as though they were posed rather than serendipitous but "sold" as one or the other.

The blurring of the distinction is what would make the voting interesting.

I immediately thought of this image from a recent challenge...

Did your vote reflect your suspicion that it may have been "posed"? If the line between "candid" and "posed" was purposely excluded from the challenge description, how would it affect your voting? Do you believe you could tell the difference? Would it make voting in the challenge more "fun"?

Is fun even relevant in the voting process?

Think it would have to be defined so broadly as to miss the point entirely, or defined properly in which case it would be a dnmc fest.

If you're going to throw a fest, it might as well be a dnmc fest.
