I am getting a wide angle lens this week, I have narrowed it down to one of the above. Does anyone have any input on any of these lenses??? Thanks.

I have the Canon and LOVE it ... don't have any experience with either of the other two mentioned ... IMHO, you can't go wrong with the Canon ...

The reviews are for nikon... but same idea... Skip the sigma... sigma is only good for macro lenses... the others are all crap... (that's my own opinion so please dont chew me out on it...)

The Tokina is susposed to be really good... I have a nikon 10.5mm fisheye which is a circular 180 degree view, where as those lenses you are thinking about give a linear view... MUCH less coverage, but linear... i'm going to be getting the tokina 11-16 soon... BUT if you can afford it, go for the canon 10-20mm... (i'd get the tokina and save my money...)

Tokina started as a division offshoot from Nikkor (nikon) so they have really good optics...

Wow, that was like reading a seizure.

If you have the money to buy the canon lens, do it.

Looks like there is a new choice, the Tamron 10-24mm

I have both the Canon 10-22 and the Canon 15mm Fisheye.

I bought the fisheye on a whim, thinking it might not be worth it as it's not really 'fishy' on the 30D - needs full frame to be the utmost fishyness.

Anyhoo - LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT - Love the wide, but the speed and clarity make this brilliant.

I know you didn't ask about it - but wanted to add it to the mix, because on your camera it would not be fishy either - but fast and wonderful too!

Anyhoo, also love my 10-22, but the Fishy isn't leaving my camera any time soon - GRIN!

I have the sigma 10-20 and swear by it.... it seems to be a fine lens and less $ than the Canon, I believe.

The Canon seems to be the choice if you can afford it, better build quality and less lens flare. I own the Sigma 10-20 for Nikon and that never comes off. I use my other camera body for my other lenses. Haven't used either of the other lenses but the Sigma is my favorite lens.

I was put off the canon and the sigma by write ups in What Digital Camera mag, they got 80% and 79% rating so I bought the tokina and have been very impressed
