Suggest that you go to a recycled building supply place, buy an old window, take it to a place with a cool view and shoot, shoot, shoot.

Unless you are living in a trailer, don't try to move the house.

I just never seem to be the right place at the right time. I saw plenty of photogenic wheels yesterday. Way better than the low-scoring shot I entered.

That's better than what I went through for a while, when the challenge was always the same as the best shot I'd taken the week before.

The rules don't specify the type of window, could be an automobile window!

I made few shots, but one that I like don't have window frame in picture( I believe that window frame is mandatory). And one with window frame are so bad, that I can't show them even to myself.

I'm thinking that the rules also don't say how much of the window needs to be included......

It says the frame OR the glass need to be included to make sure it is obvious it was taken from a window. So you might be OK.

It's a tricky one alright. Hoping that where I am going this evening will give rise to a few photos out of a window but not expecting anything spectacular....might end up skipping this one too.

Does the photo have to be looking out a window or can it be looking into a window if the window pane is included in either situation?

It does not specify whether you need to be looking in or out. Just get the best shot you can! I have a very very unique one in my satchel of shots : 0

This is a good point and one that can be exploited easily...For instance, go to your local town or city and start shooting pictures inside of shops, restaurants, deptartment store displays, etc... Make sure that the interior has some good lighting and interesting subject matter. And make sure your exposure shows both the interior and exterior.

I think it is specified that it is FROM a window. I interpret that as looking out of the window ...

I don't see it writen that it has to be the window of a house or a building, so I'm thinking if I use my car window would that be a crime?

Nah...I'm using a different vehicle window (keepin' it a surprise) so a car would be fine. Especially because I will be at the NYC car show a few times this week :)

Just another tip (although I realize it's an obvious one for most people)... try to use a polarizer -- it cuts out window glare.

I agree, cars, busses, ships, trains and planes all have windows. Homes, stores and buildings too. I would think all are valid. I also think the challenge wording means viewed from inside looking out. (The stalker challenge starts next week....LOL)
