Yes, it really is me asking for help, again!

I am currently putting together a website as part of the charity work Andi and I do and I need to create something very similar to the following diagram...

I have tried asking for permission to use various images but I am just drawing a blank everytime and the one that did agree wanted $2,500! The website will provide information and support for high grade brain tumour patients in the UK...something we dont yet have in this country and as it's just little old me putting this together I am drawing on all the resources I can think of to help me!

So, I've decided to ask you guys if you can either a) point me in the direction of somewhere/someone that might allow me to use a diagram very similar to the one above OR b) create a diagram of the brain with the same labels as the one above for me to use (for nothing other than recognition).

Look forward to seeing if you guys can come up with a solution to my problem!

Thanks in advance for your help :o)

I have hundreds of cross sections film of my brain on MRI film. I may be able to scan in such a cross section then trace it out [like the picture your refering too] and come up with something. Like I said I have about 20 large films with a lot of cross sections on each.

I don't know if your brain would work.. seems it isn't a 'normal' brain.. and is missing some parts.

lol J/K.. I had to.

Hey Scott, that would be cool! I don't know where you'd even start with that but if you can create something from your scans then I would be extremely grateful...so long as there isn't a $2,500 price tag ;o)

No, no price tag :) But at the moment I'm kind of busy so it will be later today. I try to do some for ya.
First I have another member that I have to get with this evening, I promised I would help him (more like he will be helping me) but then I will get to work on this.

CorelDraw clipart has several good vector illustrations of brains. Does it need to be divided up/colored exactly as your sample? Or are you just looking for a brain in general?

R.

ETA: I see you have specified the "labels"... Let me see what pops up...

This is royalty-free, vector-based clip art from Corel; I can make it any size you want, change the colors and the fonts etc...
