Hi All,

Please let me know what are the 'easy to use' use softwares for HDR. I will be trying HDR for first time ever.

Hmm...if you 'search' the forums, you will find a plethora of threads, discussions, suggestions, opinions...lots of opinions, on the subject.

I use a program called Photomatix.

a great step by step tutorial on using it can be found here. Otherwise the default settings work quite good.

Just remember to click on the "Tone Mapping" button after the HDR image is generated.

Another vote for Photomatix.

It's my favorite program to use when creating HDRs.

Of course, after Photomatix comes Photoshop for the more specific editing, but as far as HDRs are concerned, I wouldn't choose anything other than Photomatix... For now at least...

I have been thinking of trying out HDR. I have no working experience with any of the HDR software available, but so far every post that I've read and any person I have asked have all recommended Photomatix.

I've been using Dynamic-PhotoHDR that is easy to use and has a bunch of really cool features.

Artizen HDR is a very powerful RAW converter with full HDR processing capabilities. You may want to at least give a spin.

I'd like to second a vote for Dynamic Photo HDR. I've used it over Photomatix for some time now-- the results it gives I've found to be superior over Photomatix.

I use Essential HDR from Imaging Luminary and am fairly pleased with it. I think Photomatix is good to (definitely the most well known) Try out some demos and see which "look" you like the best. Each program runs a bit different.

Essential HDR is probably the most simple of the ones mentioned so far.
