I need a Sigma Lens in Australia - Help

Okay folks....I need your help here. My Bigma (Sigma 50-500mm Lens) died today....a victim of the floods back in January this year. I have a Rodeo in a weeks time so I need one desperately. I do have one on hand that I can borrow...but I don't like borrowing other peoples lenses (I think you can all understand where I am coming from with this).

The company that I normally get these lenses from is no longer in business.....I am 300kms from the nearest camera store and apparently no one in that city covers what I need. So can you guys please help me find a Bigma replacement urgently...and NO second hand ones please!

Thankyou so much Lisa. They eventually called me back...twice...and now my new lens is leaving Perth tomorrow by Express Post. WAHOOOO!!

Isn't that amazing...only a few hours from loss to replace....DPC is soo cool!

Sorry, totally missed this thread....But yes, we mostly buy from PRA, they are really good there!

Hopefully I'm not too late here.

Call the Australian distributor, (CR Kennedy), with the best grey market price you can find. They will price match and organise pickup at your closest Sigma retailer.

Many of our forum members on our local site have taken advantage of this offer over the past year or so.

CR Kennedy is the only authorised Sigma agent in Australia and they will not honour warranties from purchases made from unauthorised sources.
