I need help in here... I just formateed my computer, and today I was uploading some pictures to flickr, and I noticed that the colors and overall "vibrance" of the pictures where off...In photoshop they look great, but when I open them in the canon zoombrowser or as I told, upload them to internet, the color changes... What`s happening?

Thaaank you:)

is your system color set to 16 or 8 bit instead of 24/32bit?
check this by right click the desktop>properties>settings>color quality and select the higher number

Also check your Photoshop color settings. Under Edit>Color Settings, make sure your editing space is sRGB and that you are converting to that space for files not already in sRGB (or at least warning on mismatch).
Also make sure that View>Proof Colors is unchecked.

Photoshop applies color correction according to ICC profiles set on your computer. All internet browsers (except for Apple's Safari) ignore ICC profiles and simply assume you're using sRGB color space, so images edited and saved in Adobe RGB or other color spaces in Photoshop will look dull on the web. To correct this, you should "Convert to Profile> sRGB" as the last step before saving any file for the web.

If you turn on "Proof Colors" and choose View> Proof Setup> Windows RGB (or Monitor RGB) in Photoshop, you will see a preview of how your image will look on a typical display on the internet. This is how most voters will see your DPC entries.

Thank you guys!!!!! You have been REALLY helpfull!!!!!!! -and save my day! :D

Scalvert, and when I send to print, wich colors will be more alike? the proof setup Windows RGB or the one I had before (I think it was CMYK)... The people with a mac will see other colors then?

So if I let the "Proof colors" turned on all the time, I can edit like that and the people will see the picture exactly as I wanted to right? (I don`t understand a thing of color management :()
