I was going to go with "the run-away bride" - although this version would obviously fail basic editing rules

Pretty much every comment I had said this was too dark...


I lightened it up a bit, here it is...


Comments anybody??

It looks right on my screen. :(

This was my original pick... but it was rotated 90 deg. clockwise.

Then after going to bed, I got a flash of perspiration and quickly edited the take I submitted:



Which actually did better than I expected (5.49 vs. expected 4.25) -- and I decided to rotate the image to look like the pennies were going up, not being lifted off the ground.

The submitted was a little stronger is that my hand appears behind the pennies.

The unsubmitted was a little stronger in brightness which many complained about.

I took about 50 shots to get one (or two) that I felt would work.

What I should have entered?


My thinking... I liked the smoke of my entry, and thought it would have made up for the flame being over blown... but judging from my final score, I might have been wrong. Would have I done better with this rejected outtake?
