hi! I got a request for taking photos in a theatre (summer production, not too big) for the programme. they want to know how much they would have to pay. they need photos of a rehearsal and perhaps some backstage photos. DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW MUCH IS "NORMAL"!? perhaps someone from Germany or even Austria (that would be best as I live here too).

thank you so much in advance. I really don't have ANY idea, as I haven't been paid for my theatre-photos so far.

hey isa, grats on your paid job, that's awesome :)

i don't have a clue either what to charge but you might want to contact gary or nasty directly, they're both into the business of photography and i'm sure they'll give you a helping hand on the pricing.
good luck :)

I believe it has to do with the client mostly.

If it is a semi professional work just go for the basics. Find out how many pictures and/or hours you are going to do and compare it with the usual cost that is charged in the area for a wedding...

Plus you can make some extra if you do some portraits for the actors which could be very interesting.

Hope we see some of these photos here!

Good Luck!
