I take it you just got dinged from one of the currently-in-voting challenges? Bummer...

Takes a pretty good run but I know it still stings, I got my first and only DQ'd about 40th entry, my only 7+ got taken out for a date infraction (right day wrong year) I think I would have felt better if I got a DQ before it finished....lol

Commiserations. But you're a sportsman about it and that's what counts.

Well you are in good company. I think it has happened to aLOT of people. I had a ribbon taken away for editing. And I still am not quite comfortable with what you can and can't do as far as cloning and tweaking.

I'm sorry you got a dq :( Were you getting a great score?

Not a great score, it was only 4.57 (really the shot was very bad)

After voting I realized either I have no clue about photography or many photos were converted to B&W or desaturated. I'm watching this one for sure. My image is almost straight out of the camera and my score isn't very good either. (Oh well I'm getting used to it now) I saw more than a few photos that were very good but I was suspect on how they did it without shooting in B&W or somehow converting it in pp. I am waiting to see what makes it through in the end. Good luck to everyone!

MAN you know what... there should be some clarification in the rules that helps with that... Hmmm wonder where that Idea came from....

yes, but the dsq isn't for the new rules. effectively I had some doubt because the burned area in the frame perhaps was too big(and infact was too big!!!!!!)
