Just joined dpchallenge today and like what I've seen already. I'm very new to digital photography (and photography in general) and would appreciate comments on these.

 neillanwarne, try posting the link by clicking the icon with the round "globe" in it, just above the text field in the "post reply" box, Alternately, you can click "edit" at the original post and you can fix it in the original post.

Nice exposure on butterfly, maybe a little more fill-light (some TTL flash). Composition pretty good, but personally I would have come in a bit closer. That way your main subject is the butterfly, not the leaves.

To post clickable thumbnail size shots, use the icon over the text box with the two squares in it, and select the file to post. It makes it much easier for people who still have dial up to use the site and view the threads. I am not sure if you can do that as a registered user but give it a try.
You have found a great place to learn about digital photography. The people here are like a big family and will help if you ask.

Thanks, I did try that, but got nowhere. I'll have another go.
Still no luck, all I get is this

I'm guessing this only works with a DPChallenge portfolio, oh well.
