It's been quite a while since there was an OKC GTG...and there were only 3 of us there...haha.

I'm thinking it's about time to at least start organizing another one. If you're interested, sign up here and then I'll start getting details together.

I will have to try and make the time. I think they can live without me for a day. What are your thoughts on locations?

I'm looking at either the 19th of this month or Feb 2. Would y'all like to go out and shoot an event, just roam around the city shooting, or maybe pull down a Photography showing at the International Museum of Photography?

It doesn't matter to me. I will go along with whatever you guys choose. I do want see the photography museum, but I doubt there would be many photo ops there. The zoo is there, and Bricktown, the Oklahoma City Memorial, and I will check to see what Travel OK has coming up in their schedule of events.

Ok, this is what I have found so far. Ref. TravelOK.com
19 Jan
- Ultimate Eagle Watch at Kaw Lake near Poncha City.
- There are other eagle watch activities in Hulbert, Vian, and Sulphur. All are guided tours.
I haven't been on any of these tours, so I can not speak for the quality.

Nothing for 2 Feb

Anyone else have any ideas, spill em.

The Ultimate Eagle Watch is free...and it sounds like a great time.

Also, there's the IFR in OKC that day, if anyone's up for rodeo.

Alright..this is growing in numbers. I was beginning to think I would have to hang out with Mike

cryingdragon by myself. Could be a blast. I will try and call them in the morning and get a schedule of events and some more details.

Ultimate Eagle Watch on the 19th of January it is.

According to the schedule on the website from last year...door open at 7:30 am...so it's gonna have to be an early start. If you wanna go, PM me and I'll start getting this together.

It is a little over a 2 hour drive north from OKC.

Well it's on the way if you go out of your way. I may have to go up the night before and get a hotel room after I get off work. I might even be able to talk Tina into going.

It's a 3.5 hour drive to OKC from here, so will have to check. I'd prolly have to come up Friday even and get a hotel. I'll keep ya posted. :)

Hey Ken...we STILL need to do our "in-between" GTG in Louisiana...start plannnin' and I'll nudge, TCGURU, lol!
