Can't believe you didnt' assume me... *shrugs, owell huh.
Not sure if I will do this or not, not going to have a gallery here at DPC any longer come jan., so I would have to post off site which isn't a problem, just more difficult to get comments.
hmm guess I will ponder this one.

Yeah, but I'd trade my share of the fresh baked cookies for the entertainment value of even ten SPs from Leroy. :) |

Hey Art Roflmao you got my name wrong.
It is rex
not rex
That capital "R" makes me look important.

I hate taking my picture. I'm in! (Part of the New Year's resolution to learn to step out of the box - or to indulge in personal distress... take your pick.)

This is shaping up to be a great group! One thing I would like to do this time also is to compile a list of suggested themes for anyone who needs some inspiration or direction (like me). I find it much more fun to pick a theme and try to stick with it as much as I can, but there are always wild card days! :) In all 3 SP projects I did in the past, I came up with the theme either as a result of my day one shot, or I fumbled around for the first week and found a theme after that.
For example, in SP1, I shot a rather uninspired "whatever" shot with a bandana over my face. So I decided that the bandana would be my theme and I went out and bought one of every color and design I could find at the dollar store.
In SP2, my day 8 entry became the impetus for a comic style storyline that I made up as I went along. This was very hard to keep up and I took some days off and did some cool stuff (I think anyway) during the story intermissions.
In SP3, my day 1 shot was also the inspiration to do a movie theme, which I refined into (mostly) replicating movie posters. A lot of fun, but the most work ever and I only made it to day 21 before I collapsed in a coma with my hand on the mouse and my cursor on the healing brush tool. Ha! Just kidding. I just ran out of time to work on them.
So for this, my 4th SP project, I will have to come up with another theme, but I already decided that I am also going to try to focus more on photographic quality (lighting, exposure, etc.) - at least in the source images. :)
So let's compile a list of themes for everyone to draw from either for part or all or none of the project. Nobody has to declare anything - it's just to offer some direction or inspiration. Themes can be things like topics, techniques, borders, editing styles, etc. Something that could provide a thread of consistency in the 29 images. Post your ideas here and I'll compile the list and post it with the kickoff thread in February.
