I love to know if there is any interest in a 30 Day side challenge using TEXTURES and Overlays

UPDATE -
Due to the large number of interest in Textures and Overlays we have decided that it would be best if we divided this origional Texture side challenge into two groups.
One group will be TEXTURES and the other group OVERLAYS, running side by side, as two seperate Side Challenges, for the month of November 2007.

Origional idea; Texture Side challenge - Taking photos of differant textures, macro, abstracts, real subjects like skin, faces, animals etc, black ad white or color, and also overlays.....

Love to here if anyone would like to do this, please add you name here. and what ideas you like to add.

I don't think one has to post everyday, thats is why side challenges are so great and so enjoyable. Just as long as you do, as much as one can, as the idea here is to learn, share, and experiment.....

Please add your name or any ideas to this thread, so that we have some great reasons to do this side challenge.

Shez I'd love it but couldn't do it in November, I might have to do a solo one in December - GREAT idea though

Textures is a good idea for a November side challenge inj the Northern Hemisphere, where we are entering winter and the growing things are all brown and wilted :-) I'll give it a go.

Any more name to the list, just add them here.....

Differant textures apart from Overlays, Plants & Nature - Skin, Paper & Card, Foil, Animals, Tools, Building Materials, Fabris, Fruit, Made made accessories like wallets & belts etc, Vegatables, Seeds, Spices, Metal, Glass, Timber, Ribbon, Glitter, Soft textures, Metallic textures and Glitter all have amazing textures.

Any more suggestions.....

This sounds fun! Since I am post surgery (with 5-6 more weeks to recover) this might be something I can do easily. I can't promise every day but I'm sure willing to give it a try!

I'd like to join too.

I had surgery to repair my Achilles tendon and will be on crutches for a while. I'm ready to have some fun. I like the textures idea. I should be able to find lots of things in my back yard to photograph.

Yep, it looks like I have time.
Now let me think, I'll have to get some more lighting equipment and maybe a lens or two. Can't enter a challenge with the same old gear can I.
