Wow, the silence is deafening. Billy, think you could bring some of that fervor of that other thread over here? ;-)

THAT'S what I'm talking about!! Thank you formerlee!!

Hey Billy, I just had a thought! What if we recruit 10 other people, in other places, to shoot one month of that calendar? Then it would cut the workload in thirds :) If we could just get 2 more, it would be just 3 months each instead of 6 :)

Everyone else, what I am talking about is: I thought up an idea to do a calendar of women (breast cancer survivors and their daughters and grand-daughters) with a pink theme (i.e. if you use christmas hats for december, they should be pink, not red... November with a pink turkey perhaps... etc...). I think we can get a great deal on the printing and we can donate all of the proceeds to the cause. We get to advertise on the month that we did the photography. Then we can sell the calendars locally :)

Leroy, could you request this thread be moved and the title changed please??

I would like to see people get in on the photography end of this :)

Sure starting a new thread isn't a better idea?

I love the calender idea, btw ... I'm sure we could get at least 12 photogs interested.

I'm a little confused about this thread, but I support both a challenge and what I think are donations to fight breast cancer. In fact, we've already donated a healthy sum before now, so while I'm passing on this specific opportunity, I wholeheartedly cheer on everyone who's participating!

OK I have an idea maybe this might be another way to make donations to meet the goal. The donation can be made here https://www.breastcancer.org/donate.php and the person making the donation could use the

“In Honor of Someone Special
If you wish to honor someone with your gift, please provide his or her name. If you would like breastcancer.org to send an email or letter to the person you are giving in honor of, please provide their email and/or address information below, and type their name as you would like it to appear.”

Feature And name DPC. Have the email sent to Langdon, he intern will be able to verify the donation but the amount will have to be on the honor system.

Just a thought.

:-)

He, me too :-)

Hey, JoJo... I only suggest a new thread for the calender, because it would be outside of a Challenge Suggestion.

Maybe a Side Challenge thread? It does seem to be appropriate, because it involves taking extra-challenge photos ... just a thought. Besides, SC has already been kind enough to change this thread title twice I think.

Okay sweetheart... it's up to you really :)

I have some details to iron out... particularly about the printing price of the calendars... I will be back in a lil while with some info for everyone... then we can decide how to proceed and which forum to put the thread in :)
