I have a bit over $10. in my DPCprints sales, the only way I can get that money is to order prints right...if there was a way I would donate it all...quick someone buy some of my images and get me past $25 so I can request the money and then donate it lol. I'll see what I can do for this very worth cause...btw...you ALL rock!

From one Billy to another, thank you! Mind if I post that as a bulletin on MySpace? (Heck, mind if LOTS of us do that?)

btw - I've been through Terrel TX many times; seemed there was always someone being friendly, wherever I went...

ETA - looks like someone can start another thread about ANYone who'd like to donate proceeds from their print gallery. Then we could send out links to the thread (maybe people could link to their best images in the thread!)

$10.00 donated...I know it may not seem like much to some but among other stuff, it means I will have to wait till next month before I can get rid of this:

If it helps just one person, then it was well worth it!

Every little bit helps :)

IMHO its the act not the amount that counts. out of all the users if a good percentage donated $2 or $5 or $10 or more then we should be able to surpass our goal with no problem...

Thank you Scott - every little bit DOES help!

Think of it this way: 9 days ago, there was nothing. now, there's hundreds of dollars collected (and NONE of it would have happened without donations)

There are less than a dozen people thus far, and we are @ approximately 10% - just imagine how much we can do if each of US convinces one or two people to donate!!!

If someone starts a thread about proceeds from print sales (or any other ideas!), please post the info here...

Is there a way to sell our photos? All the money made from them should be donated. When are we doing this challenge? Better hurry, the month is half over.
10/16/2007 03:20:50 PM · #111
yep - just tell everyone, everywhere that you'll donate the proceeds... its working already ;)

(thanks April!)

Disappointing isn't it?? That people have so much time and energy to devote to rant, but they can't go donate a frikkin DOLLAR for a good cause??

I just saw this for the first time a few minutes ago. I just made a donation - hope others feel they can spare even just a few dollars.

Thanks Sarah. Every dollar counts. Whether the money goes to promote awareness or a cure, it helps.

Sarah, that was sweet of you - thank you (and everyone!) who has helped.

I know that this thread had dropped off for a couple days, but we can STILL meet this goal and do a LOT of good!

Kinda off-topic, but neat, nonetheless.

Tammy, I remember the posts about your grandmother, and I know that it was difficult for you. Thank you for helping, and for sharing.

so... you're donating a portion of those too?!? ROFL

Seriously - thank you Judi, for sharing, donating, AND caring!

Bump~~~
K, if you are reading this and you haven't yet donated (even $1 helps!), just think about this. Cancer is not selective in who, when or how it strikes and it will somehow effect every single one of our lives at some point, even if through just a mere acquaintance. That is so nasty to think about.
Some have had to deal with this horrible disease far more than others. Maybe not physically, but emotionally and mentally because of a friend or loved one. Through your donations and efforts, hopefully we can help prevent some people from ever having to experience "knowing someone with cancer" and cure those that have this deadly disease. Please consider donating! I'm cheap and I donated. :P

No...but if you read there is a lady who lost both breasts to cancer...and she still went topless to raise money for their center. She made me very proud.....her courage was astounding.
