I know it is last minute, but I plan on being somewhere on the race route with my camera. Does anyone else want to meet up?

Right!
It is going to be the hottest one on record for the race. Lots of pain and suffering...makes for great pictures...AND more importantly I wont freeze my ass off!

| MayaM...did you end up going? I hope you weren't too close to the finish line...I heard on the radio last night that the race got shut down but didn't hear if anyone had actually finished or not...did hear someone died though...sad. |

| The news article I read this morning said that the marathon was shut down after 3.5 hours - so the top runners and over 10,000 others finished. But the article said that there were over 10,000 no shows, another 10,000 did not finish, many with heat exhaustion and at least one man died. |
