As some of you know, I've been gone from the site and from photography in general since about January. I'm starting to get back into the swing of things starting with practicing taking portraits of my kids (bribed with M&M's). Here's what I have so far from today.

They were both taken using a gold reflector, however the first one turned out a bit too gold and I tried to color correct. She still doesn't look quite right.

I really like the second one, I just wish her hair wasn't so messy. :)

Hi Lisa - welcome back!

Outside portraits are very difficult to get right. The second one is best, but still has some bright/shadow issues on the face. In both images, the background is a little distracting. Maybe move the subjects farther away or find a solid foliage bg to shoot against or clone out the lumber.

Great models though, and glad you're back!
