Is there anything i can do to improve this?
I have toned down the satuation as i wanted to create a more dramatic effect but i'm not sure if it has really worked or not.....

It's a nice sharp shot - I like the reflections and glossy look on the wet stones. The thing this picture desperately needs though is a point of focus and preferably something with a punch of colour. Maybe something like a person dressed in a red mac or similar on the left third. The wave in the background mirroring the front wave is very nice too. Just needs a punch of colour and a focal point for me.
Also maybe and I hope you don't mind I had a quick fiddle in photoshop and converted it totally to B and W and then played with contrast burning etc. I also cropped off the rocks on the left to make the wave in the background more of a focal point - I also cropped some of the sky out and a little off the bottom just for composition purposes. Looks a little more dramatic now I think?

Hey this is great, i really love what you've done and it definitely looks more dramatic in full B&W.
I appreciate you taking the time for an edit :o) You've given me inspiration to go and try another edit! |
