My father in-law found this picture the other day (I guess it means a lot to him)and he asked me if I would enlarge and frame it for him. I would also like to try and improve it a little before doing so. I was wondering if someone could help me out? My editing skills are lacking.

Fixing Thumb, BTW if u can find a way to get us the original scan alot more can be done. (Thumb removed/fixed).

Hmm....

All I have is a copy of the old picture. This is my first time scanning. Do I need to do something different?

Well to just copy it and print it at the size it was, most people recommend to scan it at 300 DPI, id scan it at 600 if your enlarging but some times people think its excessive.

BUT, you did upload a full size image - LINK to Full Size, or u can get it from the image didnt see it at first.

I kinda meant editing wise, if we happen to be on the same page apparently money doesnt spend the same from all sources lol.
