Now the pain really begins.. Not sure if technology has finally caught up to this, but don't you have to get a ton of shots in your stomach for rabies??? ouch !!

Poor bobcat. Not its fault it contracted rabies.

Wow! That's both scary and sad. What could the man do but defend himself? At least he may have saved other people from the same fate. There was rabid otter attack recently near where I live in Florida. This one attacked three people before it was caught.

I love animals but have a lot of respect for them.

That is wicked awesome..

A guy over here in Cass Lake got attacked by a pack of feral dogs and beat them all off with his boot. From what I understand, though.. It wasn't much of a pack. Three or four dogs. Still, that's pretty cool.

Not the animal beating.. I love animals.. But that they actually managed to defend themselves against a critter who was raised its whole life to fight and kill..

Thats so freaking badass. Does he get to keep it and stuff it? I think I'd want to keep it in the living room or something..."Yah, that's the rabid bobcat I strangled with my bare hands"...

I wouldn't think so unless they gave him the head back...they have to remove the head to open it up and check for rabies. I believe they still do this. So the big kitty may come back with a Stryker saw mark round the top of its head.

"..didn't show any sign of foul play."

Yep it has. Shots in the arm now, and one ASAP after and then 6 in 30 days.

Guess you can take the shots in your arm and then the bill in your rear when your insurance won't cover them.
