Rather than steal others' threads (cuz we all know I aint no thread crasher)...

Just stopping in for a brief visit. I've been around actually - voted and commented in recent challenges and have a couple pics in 2 current challenges.

Thanks for all the PMs - sorry if I didn't reply to many - just busy dealing with stuff, but also enjoying time with my sons.

...so I might just be in & out tonight and not back again for a bit, but will pop in when I can. No question that I miss y'all. (I only say "y'all" online for some reason)

Peace.

<--- ps: notice anything different?

pss: Hi Suemack, Hi Judi, Hi crayon, Hi JDannels!

You are soooo wrong. I am sleeping with the dog, that is why my wife kicked me out of the house. :P

But because of the 30D parked in the garage there was no room for poor Art :( ........so to find a place to lay his head he had to head on down to the shed

hi Ken! OMG... a spanking new camera! ;)
what a show-off (crayon starts scribbling wax on Art's new camera)
now we can see his sinister work of art with higher resolution, less nose, and at a faster burst rate... wait a darn minute, is that good or bad?

maybe its time i get a camera with a shorter name too, and with some numbers for model :P

More importantly, who kicked him out of the outhouse?

oh wait, on second thought, it becomes so clear. He is living in the outhouse so the dog doesn't have to lose face with the other dogs in the 'hood.... too bad about the missus. ;)

Just one last post before I head fer bed.

About the 30D - I came *this* close 2 or 3 times to ordering it online for $1300+ over the past year, but held out. Then I got a notice that it was available for $919 - I jumped on it. I've had my 300D for 2.5 years now and shot over 25,000 pics with it, it seems like the right time. So far I love it. I also had to upgrade to PS3 so I can read the friggin CR2 files and I am very happy with that upgrade as well. So, the point is: when people tell ya new stuff can't make you happy, they are wrong. :)

ps - the 30D is still available for $919 here...

that also explains why he needed a bigger camera body - to cover his face!
