Damion, Me, Kita, Nikolas, Cai

There are so many broken families out there...but not enough emphasis is put on unbroken families. Families are good...we all need them. Now please...show me yours and continue the theme!!

With you all the way here Judi. And with this you brought something to my attention that I did not realize was sorely missing from my portfolio. I have pictures of all of my family in there, and in most every combination but only one of the 4 of us together. This one here -
This will be corrected soon.
And for anyone even remotely interested in seeing all the others - My family. These dont count challenge entries - which could take up another 50 or so images. ;)

I won't be seeing my family again until next month; first time in two and a half years. I've grown a new sister-in-law (Indonesian) and a nephew (half-Indonesian), both of whom I haven't met.

One of our last family portraits; I took it in our old front yard using the camera's self timer.

This was the last family portrait I got of all of us together, last Thanksgiving.

I am glad to see this thread still going. There is so much negativity in so many of the other threads that it is nice to see that people here are finding some good around them and sharing it with others.

Most of my maternal relatives, Christmas 2005, showing off their red MS bracelets in memory of my Grandma who was confined to a wheelchair by the disease:

And this is my cousin Danny and Uncle Patrick, with whom I vacationed last week and who I somehow managed to convince to pose for me:

Just the humans, mind you. I don't think I could get all the animals in one shot ;-)

This is from last Easter; husband John, daughters Kathy and Meaghan, son Johnny and me. The kids kept complaining there would be branches in the middle of the picture but I assured them I had looked through the viewfinder and the camera didn't see any branches in their faces. I'm actually rather pleased because I didn't have to paste Meaghan's face into this shot. She has a terrible habit of partly closing one eye in the one shot where everyone else looks great (we call it her pirate face).

And just to brag, here is one of Meaghan from last week, from the ceremony where she got her white coat, stethoscope and pager after completing year one of med school.
