Try this for yourself:

1. Go to //maps.google.com

2. Click on "Get Directions"

3. Enter "Genova, Italy" and "New York"

4. Click the "Get Directions" button

5. Look at step 32

Enjoy,
~Terry

It's all covered in the terms of service " Google disclaims any and all responsibility or liability for the accuracy, content, completeness, legality, reliability, or operability or availability of information or material displayed in the GOOGLE SERVICES results. It is also interesting to go to Google Moon. Zoom in all the way and see what happens.

But, somehow it is strange to hear
The State Department say
"You are living in the free world--
In the free world you must stay."

Really? I thought one only needed a passport if they entered the USA via aircraft or by boat... :O)

I know I go quite often and still do not require a passport.

I think you don't need a passport because you are from Canada....people from other countries would need one and I think us Canadians will need one even if we drive in in the next year or so.

New regulations require US citizens to have a valid passport to (re)enter the US from Canada or Mexico.

LOL -

Even better: look at the screwy directions they give from Lisbon, Portugal to Miami, Florida. One would think it would be a straight swim across the Atlantic Ocean, but nooooo...
