Hi all, many of you dpc'ers are aware of the death of my daughter Rose last November, I still read your messages, both in the forum threads and the many private messages I received.
Over the past couple of months  Talj and I have been working on a way to raise money for Rose's Tribute fund. We have an idea and Talj is showing a real flare for fundraising. A few weeks ago she enlisted the help of  Super-Dave and www.rosemcgill.co.uk is the result of their work.
I'd very much like you to take a few moments to visit the site, have a browse, leave a comment in the guestbook and maybe see if you can think of ways you can help us. As my signature says, you may even want to give a dollar for my Rose.
The idea nor the site would have happened if it wasn't for Talj and Super-Dave. {{{HUGS}}} to both of you (Dave, yours is a manly hug).

The site looks fantastic Talj, Andi and Dave.
Is there any way you could sell prints to raise more money for the trip? Just an idea brewing in my mind so I have no idea of the details but if you could get people who wanted to donate a photo to be sold as a print.......... not sure if it could be done through DPC Prints and linked to from the site? |

Certainly sounds like a great way to raise money towards our target!! It's late here in the UK so my mind isn't really working at its best but, if anyone can think of a way we could get this to work or if you are interested in selling any of your prints in memory of Rose please CONTACT US

that's a good idea ... talj is going to set up some prints through her account. any prints sold go to the charity.
i'm donating some of my prints, and maybe a few other people might do so as well ... :)

Thanks Dave, I am just organising and sizing prints now for selling on DPC Prints. I have had a few interested parties who will be providing an image to sell via my store on DPC Prints.
If you are interested in selling one of your prints and donating the proceeds to Rose's tribute fund we'd love to hear from you!

I'm up for the print thing. I'll send you a message. I've sold a few so I'll have a looksee at which ones might do best. Unless you'd like to take a look and give some opinions of ones you'd like to use.
I'm also willing to donate any profit of print sales from my print store between now and August (is that when the race is?) to your cause. I don't sell a lot so I can't promise anything, but I'll put a note on my storefront announcing it and also link to Rose' site if that's okay (provided I can figure out how to do it) :)

| Natalya, I was wondering if there was a way you could put together your kitchen series as sort of a collage, like maybe 16 x 20 or so? Then you could offer that as sort of a signature fundraiser, both here and on the site. I know I'd buy one! |

Hey Deb, great idea :o) I'll put something together and get it uploaded! I am hoping to have my (our) DPC Prints store up and running by friday so I'll make sure its done for then! :o)
