a quick shot off my back deck this morning. You can sure tell this is the Ozarks, i get to look at a church and my friends hunting dogs ( coon hounds and bird dogs) out my back window. The church lot will be full before long and its time i get ready for church myself.

This is Pilkington's Glass Works, in St Helens, Merseyside, UK. It is the main reason that St Helens exists. The Pilkington Brothers founded their first factory here in the late 1800's and were once there was 5 separate parishes, an industrial town was born.



I also took this today, this was quite early this morning, while it was still frosty.

I wish I could be more consistent in doing these 30 day Challenges. I boffed on the recent SP one but alas, I'm determined to see this one through. I wish I had time to comment and see everyone's entries and while I'll do my best to, there are sooooooooooooo many! And so many really great ones.

I really appreciate all the wonderful comments in this side challenge. It's very inspirational and giving me a boost after getting discouraged in the "real" challenges.

I may not get to shoot anything worth seeing today, so here is one from Jan 31st, almost within challenge dates to share. My primary camera is showing the same symptoms that it did a week before it burned up something inside, and had to have major repairs. If I have time I will post a "today" image a bit later.
I am enjoying this thread almost too much.

Genesee, MI. There is a little old time tourist village called Crossroads Village near my house. They have a train ride you can take called the Huckleberry Railroad. This is where the tracks run over the water, there's a lake on the other side of the bridge. There is a little ice skating rink on this side of the bridge.
